Chico Rotaract changed its format from an university-based club to a community-based club.  This change opens up membership to young professionals from 21-34 years of age, providing another avenue to grow while networking and helping their community.

"We see it as an opportunity for young professionals to sharpen their management skills while having a positive impact on their community," said Gabe Eggen, Rotaract President.  "It's an opportunity to meet and form relationships with the 200 community leaders in the Chico Rotary Club. It's a direct path to becoming a Rotarian."

Chico Rotaract is a service organization and satellite club of Chico Rotary, but functions independently with its own management, bylaws, and budget.  Members of Rotaract take an active role in its management, setting its course, and realizing its vision.
